TYPES OF TRAINING IN OUR GYM – Here at the Iron Forged Gym we welcome everyone. Whether you’ve been training for years or if you’ve never trained before you will feel comfortable in our facility. We have equipment suited for all types of training whether it’s bodybuilding, powerlifting, Crossfit, conditioning for boxing or mixed martial arts, or for those who are just trying to stay healthy. We focus on helping our members achieve their goals whether it’s stepping on stage, or just living a healthier lifestyle. Bodybuilding

TYPES OF TRAINING IN OUR GYM – What is bodybuilding? Bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one’s musculature for aesthetic purposes. In competitive bodybuilding, bodybuilders line up on stage, and perform specific poses, and also an individual routine where they are judged. There is a lot that goes into bodybuilding and it is a 24/7 sport.  The Iron Forged Gym is probably best known for this type of training because we have many members who compete or have competed who train at the gym.  We have a huge selection of plate loaded machines for each bodypart.  We are especially known for our back and leg areas due to the many different angles that you hit those muscles from by using the variety of equipment we have!  If you are looking for a gym to get better as a bodybuilder the Iron Forged Gym has you covered!

Powerlifting

TYPES OF TRAINING IN OUR GYM – What is powerlifting? Powerlifting is much different than the sport of bodybuilding. It is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on the squat, bench, and deadlift.  We have Specialized bars for Deadlifts, squats, and bench presses.  We have heavy duty commercial racks and benches where you can practice your lifts.  We also have bands, mini bands, chains, and full deadlift platform so you can push past your sticking points in order to reach your best total numbers.   There many options for powerlifters at the Iron Forged Gym!

Strongman

TYPES OF TRAINING IN OUR GYM – A competitor who competes in a variety of events such as lifting rocks, tire flips, object loading or carrying, and many more while moving the highest weights possible. The competitor with the most points is declared the winner.  We have a Steel Log, a deadlift platform, Chains, Bands, Farmer’s carry handles and much more for Strongman Training at the Iron Forged Gym!
